stress can be costly in terms of our individual lives, our health, and
our society. A recent New York Times article stated that
workplace stress costs American industry more than $300 billion each year
in healthcare costs and missed workdays. It is also widely believed
that over 90% of what people see their primary care physicians for is stress
related or triggered by stress.
You can learn skills to use immediately to cope with those days when you feel you are being bombarded at every turn. You can also learn what to do to start to build better reserves for handling stress on an ongoing basis, and to begin to reclaim your balance.
